Stephanie Williams is a Los Angeles based editor with years of experience cutting across narrative, documentary, and commercial forms. A former classical musician and graduate of the MFA in Production program at the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts, she draws heavily on her music and directing background in the cutting room.

Stephanie’s most recent feature film credits include Give Me An A (XYZ Films) which was nominated for best editing at FilmQuest (2022), and Same Same But Different which is premiering at SXSW Film Festival (2026). Her short form work has screened at numerous national and international festivals, and her work in the digital space has garnered hundreds of thousands of views. Stephanie’s greatest passion lies in telling stories with and about marginalized groups, with an emphasis on stories from the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to her lead editor work, Stephanie has also held a variety of roles in post-production as a post coordinator on John Lee Hancock's The Founder, Marvel Studio's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread, and as post supervisor on the Fox animated series Bless the Harts.
